Controller and contact
Aparca Fàcil is operated by the Ayuntamiento de l’Ametlla de Mar, the data controller. Contact its data protection officer at dpd@ametllamar.cat for privacy enquiries and to exercise your rights.
Data and purposes
The viewer displays parking information and available spaces. It does not require an account or collect vehicle registration numbers or personal parking histories. Hosting and content delivery services receive connection data, such as your IP address, access time and browser information, to deliver and protect the website.
Optional location
Location is requested only when you select “Calculate distances” and allow browser access. Distances are calculated on your device; the viewer does not send your location to its server or the parking API. It remains in memory while you use this page and is cleared when you select “Stop using my location”, close or reload the page. This feature relies on your consent, which you can withdraw without affecting parking availability information.
Maps and external links
Your browser requests map images from CARTO or OpenStreetMap depending on your selected style. They receive your IP address and identifiers for the map area displayed; the viewer does not send them your GPS coordinates. Some parking images may also be downloaded from an external provider. Selecting “Directions” opens Google Maps and sends the parking destination, without including your location in the link. OpenFreeMap serves the “Minimal” map and receives browser requests containing the IP address and displayed map area, without receiving your GPS location from the viewer. Its policy states that it does not use tracking cookies and describes limited technical logs for operation and security. Policy: https://openfreemap.org/privacy/.
Optional analytics
Cloudflare Web Analytics loads only if you accept analytics, based on your consent, to measure visits and performance. Cloudflare states that its beacon does not use cookies or local storage for tracking and discards the IP address at its entry infrastructure. Withdraw your choice through “Analytics settings”; the page reloads to stop previously loaded code. The widget does not load these analytics.
Providers, retention and transfers
The intended hosting provider is Vercel; maps use CARTO or OpenStreetMap and optional analytics uses Cloudflare. Browser preferences remain until you change them or clear site data. Your analytics choice expires after six months and is not renewed by visits. Technical logs and statistics depend on provider configuration. Contact the data protection officer for applicable retention periods, recipients and international transfer safeguards. Your rights
Email dpd@ametllamar.cat to request access, rectification, erasure, objection or restriction and, where applicable, portability. You can withdraw location or analytics consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. You may lodge a complaint with the Autoritat Catalana de Protecció de Dades (APDCAT) if you believe your rights have been infringed. The viewer does not make automated decisions or create personal profiles.
